How Can I Help?
Are you looking for a place to plug-in and serve? We always have a need for volunteer help! Here are some places we could currently use some adults:
*Sunday School teachers ~ We will begin a new Sunday School teacher rotation starting September 2nd and we have a number of spots to fill! Teachers teach on a rotating schedule – usually one month out of every 3. For instance, you might teach September, December, March, & June. All curriculum and supplies are provided and it requires minimal preparation from you (reading the lesson, praying for your class, and some minimal supply-prep like copying, cutting, etc.
*Sunday School Substitute teachers ~ Our substitute teachers sign up on a rotating basis (once or twice a quarter). On their assigned days, they come to the Sunday School area and ask the Sunday School coordinator if they are needed (in the case of a last-minute absence). If they are needed, they sub-in. If all of our adult spots are filled, the subs head back to their own Sunday School class. I also have a few subs who let me know they wouldn’t mind substituting as a lead-teacher with advanced notice. J
*Lock-In Supervisors ~ On July 27th, our 5th & 6th graders will be locking-in to the church for some tween fun! We’ll begin at 6pm with kids of ALL ages and then have just 5th & 6th graders from 9pm until 8am. We’re in need of some adults to help-out. We’d love to have you the entire night OR for a half-shift (6pm-1am OR 1am-8am).
